- The team from Accra comprised of Drs Ohene-Marfo Edward and Papa Ansah. We were received by Dr Solomon of Winneba hospital on 20th December 2024.
- The general oral health status of the people we saw was poor with majority having cervical abrasions.
- Oral health instructions were given stressing on the type of brush to use.
- We saw 20 patients
- We had scaling and polishing (cleaning) done for 9 patients
- We had 5 extractions done including a third molar extraction.
- About 10 restorations were done
- Oral health education was given
Recommendations
- Keep doing this good work
- Intensify the announcement for the dental visit
- Procure soft or medium toothbrush to be given for patients
