With each passing day, the team’s impact in Asamankese grew stronger. Building on the progress of the previous days, we continued their assessments at the Pentecost school, ensuring no child’s health needs were overlooked.
Meanwhile, as the surgeons continued their remarkable work, completing nearly 30 surgeries, other team members engaged in educational outreach. Dr. Clarence Clottey delivered a compelling lecture on adolescent health to over 2000 students, supported by fellow team members.
As the day drew to a close, we reflected on our achievements with gratitude, knowing that our efforts had made a tangible difference in the lives of many individuals. With hearts full of hope and gratitude, we looked ahead to the next phase of their journey, ready to continue our mission. As we bid farewell to the communities we have served, we do so with hearts full of gratitude. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this mission, to have connected with the people of Asamankese, and to have made a meaningful difference in their lives.
To all those who have supported us along the way – our sponsors, partners, volunteers, and the people of Asamankese – we extend our deepest thanks. It is because of your generosity, your kindness, and your unwavering support that we have been able to make this mission a success.
